In June of 2017, I graduated from University at Buffalo holding a Business degree focusing in International business and Marketing.
Post college, I spent five years working as an analyst at a Taiwanese financial institution and then a start-up advertising agency where I handled over 13 clients and more than $50MM.
As the pandemic consumed our lives, like many, I thought about what I really wanted in life - joy in efficiency and problem solving.
Long story short, a conversation and months of research was done before I embarked on my journey as a General Assembly UX student.
Post bootcamp, I utilized my years of analytical skills and start-up experience to land my first UX position at an e-commerce start up, Ana Luisa, where I had the opportunity to create and launch features. Unfortunately, it was short lived as I was a part of the massive tech layoffs.
I have kept myself busy, learning and doing:
• Learning basic code through Udemy.
• Continuing my UX journey as a freelancer and am currently working on my second client! WOO!!
• Finally, I am a caregiver, for my mother who’s recovering from a morbid monster named cancer.
